HISTORY

KERN-LIEBERS UK Ltd. was established in 1977 to supply the automotive safety market with power / clock springs to retract the webbing in seat belts. Since then KERN-LIEBERS UK Ltd. has grown and diversified into new markets, with new products, whilst retaining our core strength of springs produced from flat strip.

Our local expertise and modern production plant and machinery is supported by the global strength of the
KERN-LIEBERS Group of Companies.

During 2008 the company SPIROFLEX Ltd. joined the Group and supplemented our ability to produce, supply and market constant force springs from low to high volume. Our on line catalogue details standard constant force extension and motor springs, including sub-assemblies utilising these springs.

KERN-LIEBERS Ltd. is involved in the supply of the largest programme of knitting elements worldwide including large diameter circular knitting, body size, fine gauge hosiery and flat bed knitting. Since 2005 many of these wear parts are stocked in the UK which together with our UK based technical support team ensure excellent customer service.
